Product Summary

The ADM232LAR line driver/receiver is intended for all EIA-232-E and V.28 communications interfaces, especially in applications where ±12 V is not available. The ADM232LAR features a low power shutdown mode that reduces power dissipation to less than 5 mW, making them ideally suited for battery powered equipment. Two receivers remain enabled during shutdown on the ADM232LAR. The ADM232LAR does not require any external component and is particularly useful in application where printed circuit board space is critical.
